Ich stimme dem zu. Physik und Klima interessieren sich nicht für Menschen oder ihre Parteien und Streitigkeiten. Wenn wir es uns versauen, dann gemeinsam und für alle. Oder etwas zynischer:

Die Erde kommt ohne Menschen aus, aber die Menschen auch ohne Erde?

Was mich betrifft, möchte ich meine verbleibenden Jahre gemeinsam mit den Menschen in meiner Umgebung gestalten und genießen, und dies überwiegend außerhalb vom Internet.

For me it‘s their thoughts and ideas that matter, their challenges and solutions, their questions and findings. I can not tell reliably if someone used a LLM for writing. And I do not care, as long as the novel parts are not diluted by using a lot of words.

Is it the tooling, that people dislike? Or that they don’t understand it? Or is it the rules (formatting, test coverage) that are enforced using CI?

I used Jenkins, Github/Gitea Actions, Zuul. All get the job done.

As far as I can tell, software needs to be seen as good by those, who decide (not those who operate it or use it). If it’s advertised as excellent for those, it will be bought.
