Also yes, the kids are SYS and LGY respectively. I didnt really make a sheet for them, since I don't plan to have them feature that much, but this is what I had in mind while drawing.
And yes, it's very important to me LGY gets to wear a cute hat.

YJH continues: I also enjoy the sound of your voice. At this KDJ is speechless, as his upper face is hidden from the viewer. YJH: even though the way you talk irritates me more often than not, I don't mind listening to you all day." YJH continues blushing as we see a shrot montage of KDJ telling YJH about the book he's reading. YJH: It's nice. The scene changes to show YJH's boots as his cape flows in the wind, hiding KDJ's face from the viewer. His demon King crown is nowhere to be seen. YJH: "So, are you happy now," he slowly turns around with a blush in his face, "Kim-" but stops as he sees KDJ's expression, who's blushing all red while hiding his face. He isn't even looking at YJH but the ground and his demon king crown as well as other parts of his transformation re all gone. This is the first time YJH gets to see KDJ's actual eyes this comic so far. We zoom out to a profile shot showing the two from further away YJH continues: Dokja? At this KDJ finds his words again and jumps. His face is still blushing bright red and he speaks: "ahaha, it's nothing, nothing at all!" He then tries to make his escape and continues: "Ah, just look at the tiem! isn't it crazy?" turns around, "it's time to for me to leave again! farewell hero!" All the while YJH stares dumbfoundedly at the situation while KDJ flies away. Now having collected his wit again he tries to go after KDJ "wait! Kim Dokja" The panel shows a half eaten pudding. YJH: ... He didn't even finish his food. YJH: ...fool. The scene changes again as time passes to night. We see the YJHs cape on the gorund as he's sitting somewhere in the dark. YJH's back is shown, his face unreadable. He's wearing a coat and is looking somewhere off the screen. "it's time for the most improtant actor to enter our stage. After all he's" panel zooms onto YJH's face, "our dear hero." Hard cut to current day YJH, who is getting bombarded with speechbubbles from KDJ. He tries to ginore them as best as he can, but tis just too many. they all say something along the lines of "hey! pay attention to me, just one quesiton pleas! mr. hero!" We then cut to KDJ's obnoxiously smile: ok fine, i'll start by saying yours then: you're extremlyhandsom and cook excellent food. Now you ahve to tell me about my top qualities that make me a desirable romantic option (i'm waiting) at this YJH is getting angry and a his brows furrow further. YJH turns around, angry: SHUT UP ALREADY! Why do you even want to know?" KDj stands up, smiling smugly and replies: "well, this one is simply curious and," he makes two fingerhearts towards the viewer with the confidence of ten thousand stars, "Does *this* not make your heart skip a beat?" YJH, deadpan, replies with a no, but a small heart escapes his chest. KDJ expression turns sour and he looks downwards, thinking: I can't believe this didn't work. (I even practiced it.) Before he says "tsk, heartless bastard" under his breath. YJH: I heard that. Now, a bit guitly, YJH looks down and contemplates. He then starts speaking, catching KDJ's attention. "I... I like seeing your face when eating. You usually try to act so nonchalant, I'd even say distant. It annoys me to no end. But as soon you eat, this mask falls completely." Next to the text is a compilation fo KDJ's several expression when eating food with different degrees of cuteness. YJH is seen blushing as he says all this too. "It's like you can't help yourself and show your real emotions for once."

Hero YJH x Demon King KDJ - chapter 6 part 1 (1/3)

Phew, I'm back for more hero x dkos!!
Took a while since I kept reworking the chapters, a bit unsure where exactly to go.
It's mostly because it's time to start unveil some of the mysteries soon, so I try my best to deliver 🙂‍↕️

Comic Page Narrator speaks over a scribble night sky: Once upon a time, there was a kingdom blessed by countless stars. One day its prince crossed paths with an outcast witch on the city streets. Panel depicts a prince catching the arm of a woman with witch hat. "It was later called-" Panel zooms closer to the two people: "Love at first Sight." Narrator: However, their love was not without its adversaries. Panel shows a group of other witches looking ominously at the viewer and the next shows a group of royalty, doing the same. "Both witches and Royalty condemned their union, doing their best to separate the two. Even going as far as casting a terrible curse upon the lone witch." Panel has a hand looming over the witch's head as she looks at the finger pointing at her in horror. "You shall die by the hands of the one you love most." Narrator: That was the death curse placed upon the witch. But miracously, true love's kiss has broken her curse!" Panel shows the prince kissing her forehead, both wearing wedding attire. "Soon afterwads, the royalfamily accepted the prince's love into their ranks and they lived happily ever after. Then the last panel inverts and shows a demon baby in the witch's womb. "or so they believed. Because it wasn't just the witch's life the curse affected." "Thus a demon in human disguise was born, sellign the kingdom's premature doom." Panel shows a young boy with shadow demon horns, wings and tail, while he hides his hands behind the back. "First, it swallowed the weakened moon whole," panel shows two bloody hands, "before it clawed the grieving sun in two." A bloody crown is shown lying on the ground. The next panel shows a close up to the boy's face with two actual horns growing out its head. "Then, thedevil spoke with a smile: 'This too is salvation." The last panel of the page shows text on a book, revealing the narrator was someone reading a story book. The text reads: "Helpless to stop the demon's rampage, the stars could only watch in silent horro. What are they to do to halt this cruel slaughter? to save themself? But before they oculdfind the answer, teh demon king suddenly stopped and entered a deep slumber. In its sleep it continued dreaming of destruction, which is why its minion continue to rise from the ground and terrorise the weak. [...]" Two Speech bubble interrupt the page. Speech Bubble A: Hyung... didn't you say fairytales all ahve happy endings? But this isn't a happy ending at all! (the bad guy won!) Speech bubble B: That's right! The prince and the witch loved each other so much, the curse should have been lifted for the baby too! (not just the mother!) Two kids (SYS & LGY) are sitting hunched next to a man in red coat. The girl says: "This just doesn't feel right, ahjussi." The boy next to her continues: "So you can't ahve the story end here, hyung!" We zoom closer to the man's face, with his eyes hidden but still wearing a slight smile. SYS: Right, we need to beat the demon king now!" The man now interrupts the two: you two are correct, the story doesn't end here yet. After all, how could it, when we haven't even met the protagonist of the story. We change scene to a boot stepping onto smth while pulling out a bloody sword out a body. The man continues: a lone wolf, wandering the country, determiend to put an end ot the demon king's injustices.

Since some people have noted the DKOS design for the isekai Uriel AU, I thought it'd be fun to share the notes I made for siad design, theyre very rough tho
