I recently had a conversation with my SIL who is a devout Christian. She didn't understand why people don't believe in god. I had to point out to her that she's the one making the claim, so the burden of proof is on her. Faith is just willing suspension of disbelief. It's not a virtue; it's a vice.

I'm going to change focus for my posts here. Look for less political content & more on the work I am doing on the Left Hand Path (LHP) & recovery from trauma. My first was an Apple IIc. I loved that thing. And I was using it long before internet access was a thing. Had to boot from a floppy disc. At the time tho, it was so cool.

A man easily swayed by flattery is easily subject to manipulation. It indicates a serious weakness & inability to make clear & rational decisions. It is a sign of a lack of self-discipline, & it reveals many insecurities in his psyche. Such a man should never be trusted in a position of leadership.
