Lol yeah some charts in this game are wacky too. Some feel so bad like they intentionally want to throw you off balance and twist your feet.
But it has some charm to it, like you gotta solve a problem that sensible designers wouldn't put in.

which I guess makes sense for a 2009 Wii game that uses an oversee brand and only released in the EU.
I might look into stepmania eventually, but there's like 6 more Wii games I could check out too, which for now is enough.

I'm gonna be real, this game's difficulty seems out of wack. There's this random 5 that's harder than some 9s. It doesn't seem to have any consistent rules because there's a 6 that uses many double arrow combos that require foresight in where you place your feet and 9 stars that are just singles.

yeah I figured something was missing. It seemed very particular in what it responded to.
Which makes me wonder how it comes that people use this as a broad point so much (especially without having read it).
Also yes if you're wondering the Anderson video prompted me to look it up. That point was BAD

His whole approach to criticism was to figure out what the author intended and present his opinion as the objectively correct one.
He's also a devout capitalist.
So an essay asserting that putting authorial intent on a pedestal is capitalist bogus that doesn't work metaphysically threatens him.
