Kitten fostering is the wildest emotional rollercoaster I've ever been on.
There have been over 30 kittens taken in since January with 20 adoptions, 3 transfers to other fosters, and 3 passing.
Wild survival rates are like 25%
We're at a 90% survival rate but boy howdy does that 10% hit hard.

Driving home through Central Texas on Tuesday was a weird wet slippery mess. For every dark highway sign that usually warned of flash floods I saw at least 4 CBP vehicles idling just off the shoulder. Great priorities Abbott. Every death from the flood is on your hands.
