it's also not the actual devs being lazy obviously it's the people who direct them on what to do and what to concern themselves with and who says not to bother to do things like have weather match season besides prioritizing some bullshit with the flowers and making sure snow is appropriately timed

I guess bare minimum you do have unique events where sims are all set to dance BUT UHHHHHHHH
have seasons installed
and have an inability to fix any of this problem right when it happens:
it could rain and your outside DJ party gets ruined

he didn't need to get up and dramatically fall to the ground, his ass fell asleep for about 1-3 sim hours on the chair

I've played enough of the Sims 4 to have a few moments of going "that was pretty amazing gameplay"
one of them is just playing as the werewolf for the first time and he had friends he could call up 💀so it all worked so fucking well as like "oh he's like on a bender, that's funny"

I just wished it was slightly more brutal and there was a greater chance of death
