I've been writing a lot again. I have about 15 different history threads because if I get all of the timelines figured out, I'll be able to write an enormous amount of stories set in this world.

People don't tell @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com that he's a treasure often enough. His practice of writing in a notebook with a fountain pen has gotten me most of the way through this first draft and it's been a week of nonstop writing.

Halp! @erinmevans.bsky.social @thetreavor.bsky.social @bdavewalters.bsky.social request for advice. I'm writing a mentor character, but for a side character that's a bit closer to the protagonist than usual. Got any advice for this? I want him to be properly fleshed out, but I'm struggling.
