For my witchy types, Imbolc coincides with Candlemas and has a lot of the same traditions. Getting together, lighting the hearth, eating food and warding off the darkness is good for the heart this time of year, no matter what traditions you follow
It's nearly Candlemas. I know most of you neither know nor care about Candlemas (a feast celebrating the presentation of Christ) but you know what you do need? Something to celebrate in this bleak stretch between Christmas and actual daylight. So light a damn candle and have dinner with your friends
