i never understand how this sentiment can withstand any type of second thought. a big tent that contains people who want to literally kill multiple marginalized groups immediately is excluding most people in those groups thus shrinking the tent.

true! i think that theres some level of just survival right now across the board but hopefully that can morph into more power structures - i genuinely dont know whats going to happen but i know i feel the most hopeful when with community and building that up in whatever capacity i can.

i think both things you said are true. community is more reliable than whatever the government is doing- i cant relate on every level to every marginalized group but as a trans person i have learned i can't count on them to protect my right to exist at all. but there are a ton of people i know i can
