Everton went 2-0 up, scoring past Ray Clemence in the 56th and 63rd minute.

Liverpool FC brilliantly fought back and goals from Steve Heighway, John Toshack (his first strike for the club) and Chris Lawler gave LFC a 3-2 win!

Two goals from Roberto Firmino and a strike from Sadio Mane set Liverpool 3-0 up after half an hour when they played at Sevilla on this day in 2017.
Unfortunately, a disastrous play in defence cost the Reds a win. They only drew 3-3 after conceding a last-minute equaliser.

Roberto Firmino scored his first goal for Liverpool FC 10 years ago today, that is on 21 November 2015. And what a night it was - the Reds were 3-0 up against Manchester City after 32 minutes of play and eventually won 4-1!

Cyril Done gave Liverpool a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes - he shot it into the roof of the net after a great ball from Phil Taylor. However, it was cancelled in the second half when Frank Lock equalised.

Virgil van Dijk plays against Liverpool for the sixth and final time. He came to Anfield as a Southampton player and lost 3-0. Mohamed Salah scored a double in the first half and Philippe Coutinho made it three later in the game.

Roger Hunt bagged a hat-trick when the Reds beat Leyton Orient 5-0 on 17 November 1962 at Anfield. Sir Roger scored 26 goals (24 in the League + 2 in the FA Cup) for Liverpool FC that season as the Reds finished 8th in their first season after returning to the First Division.

A goal from Michael Owen in the first half was only enough to secure a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park, as Matt Jansen equalised shortly after the interval. Liverpool attacked until the very end, but Rovers, manageed by Graeme Souness, survived it.

Two goals from Terry McDermott (both times assisted by Kenny Dalglish) gave Liverpool a 2-1 win at Anfield.

Tottenham relied they tatcic entirely on offisde traps - Liverpool players were caught 28 times during the game!

Liverpool FC signed a talented left-winger Alf Hanson from Everton on 17 November 1931. The 19-year-old was yet to make his professional debut and had to wait until January 1933 for his first-team bow for LFC, but then he went on to score 52 goals in 177 appearances for the Reds!

Duncan McLean died on this day in 1941.

He was with Liverpool FC from the very start and played for the club in their first official game, against Higher Walton on 3 September 1892. Duncan played 82 official games in 3 years at Liverpool.

Happy 53rd birthday, Titi!
Aboubacar Sidiki 'Titi' Camara was born on 17 November 1972 in Conakry, Guinea.
Liverpool FC signed him from Olympique Marseille in the summer of 1999 and he had short but very memorable stay at Anfield. Titi netted 10 times in 37 appearances for LFC.

The Reds travelled to Hillsborough on 16 November 1968 and beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1. Chris Lawler and Ian Callaghan scored for Liverpool that afternoon.
