Successfully combating #drug-resistant #infections worldwide requires joint efforts from various scientific disciplines and strong political will. In our alliance, 18 participating Leibniz institutes and three external partners are currently working on this challenge in an interdisciplinary manner.

Sahar Saeedi Moghaddam, member of our Alliance, has contributed to the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2021 #Antimicrobial #Resistance Report in The Lancet. The study shows that urgent action is needed to improve stewardship, surveillance & efficacy of therapies to mitigate the global #AMR threat.
