I'm a far-leftist who voted for Harris.
I fully sympathize with people who voted for Stein, but I wish she would have taken a firmer stance against Putin. Putin is unequivocally a war criminal, but Stein tried to dodge the question when she was asked about him directly.

A significant portion of Trump supporters are neurologically inhibited from feeling empathy or compassion. Even when they appear to express grief for the suffering of others, it's often more of a robotic and calculated gesture rather than genuine emotion.

I can understand people who are uneasy about celebrating the killing of a man even though that man was responsible for thousands of deaths

Regarding blocklists, don't blindly follow them unless you have a high level of trust and personally know the creator of the list. Previously on Twitter these lists were used to create division amongst online communities and blindly silenced valuable activists, and unrelated third parties.

either people specify what they mean when they say “elite” or the term is just meaningless pejorative. both parties are dominated by elites in any conventional sense of what that means! the question is: why are right-wing elites more palatable to voters than liberal ones?

Honestly, this is probably for the best. With only a +1 Dem majority, I'm not sure the Senate would approve a Biden appointee before his term ends.
