Here's another quick peak at the script for our first episode, out October 14th!

ADAM BLACKWELL
Okay, this - we’ve only got a few
minutes left. So we’ll call this
good for today, rather than diving
into a whole other topic. Does
anybody have any questions?

Practically every hand in the auditorium shoots up.

ADAM BLACKWELL (CONT'D)
Any questions that... don’t have to
do with my unusual abilities?

Slowly... most hands dwindle downwards.

ADAM BLACKWELL (CONT'D)
Yeah, all right. Everyone, I need
you all to understand... This is a
serious class, okay? I take the
academic study of Harbinger
languages seriously, and I expect
you to do the same. Anything else
that I can do... that’s not really
what we’re here for, okay?

A wave of half-hearted “okays” sweeps through the room.

not to make this all about my own interests, but we NEED more people to discover audio dramas

not only do they rule, but they're probably one of the few entertainment mediums left that aren't mostly controlled by massive companies vulnerable to corruption/pressure

the most successful ADs are indie

But it's a really amazing team that we've put together for this one - an absolutely brilliant cast, including the amazing @lgrace.bsky.social, who I'm so excited to be working with again after That Vampire Show.

Yes I am mad about the Harry Potter Audible series because it's directly funding hate against people like me and my friends.

But I'm ALSO mad because it's swallowed up most of Audible's commissioning budget, so there are less audio stories being commissioned
