Yeah but is is tongue going to the side where he's going to hit the ball, as Boris Becker did when he served? Agassi was able to read his serve by watching his tongue and beat him as a result.

Also, inspired by @backlisted.bsky.social, I re-read A Month in the Country, which I read in Yr 12, and I enjoyed my footnotes and even the bite marks on the cover from one of my schoolmates

Finished the 3rd movement of Anthony Powell's A Dance to the Music of Time, covering the breadth of WWII - this continues to be an astonishing literary achievement

Just finished watching Bertolucci's The Conformist, and in part it's a pychological study of the type of person who collaborates with an authoritarian regime (in this case, Mussolini's fascism) and it really resonates with what's happening in the US right now #SBSOnDemand
