Would have been seen as negligence giving him the contract he wanted, given his injury record. Too many poorly negotiated contracts under the Moshiri era. The club had to learn from those mistakes. Great it's working out for him, but it was 100% the right move from the club perspective.

😂😂😂 Could be a blessing for Burnham. Will only help him in the long run as he will be separated from current lot. Another by-election will happen in Greater Manchester before the next GE and they'll have no choice but to allow him to stand.

Not great news, but taking a small positive, Ndiaye is back for next Monday and he looks better on the left than the right. Every cloud and all that..

Feel more confident playing away than at home. Players back, we have enough to go there and get something.

I get that...but it's putting an unnecessary pressure on the club, because fans will then have expectations..which will translate to a better negotiating position for the selling club. Only good that comes from him coming out publicly is placating our insecurities. Let's see what January brings.

Spot on with regards back line. Not sure I agree about him coming out publicly about looking to sign players. Selling clubs can look to exploit if they know we are active...knowing our fans expect signings they can hike fee. No doubt we are looking and will make signings, but need to be subtle

Having O'Brien at CB will help with the aerial threat they pose. Concerned about Schade against Patterson, but we are limited in that area..you just have to hope we have enough to negate that threat.

Tim has been absolutely fantastic since his horror show v Newcastle. Proving the doubters wrong. Really stepped up during Gueye absence. Massive result.
