And violent sexual assault offenders being released. Just happened in Guelph. The police issued a warning that he is high risk of reoffending. I thought the Liberal party care about women

Thanks for doing this!!

Let’s say the percentages are 50(legal)/50(illegal firearms). Would you be upset to know that the government still didn’t apply the same efforts to protect Canadians from illegal firearms? The real percentages vary from 88-99.5% based on how biases are applied.

What a coincidence!

Thanks! Appreciate you guys being here on Bluesky, it’s still an echo chamber here

That is a solid scenario you have put forward. I would add:

1)automated background check on all RPAL holders every 24 hours
2)signed consent by spouse to allow an individual to possess an RPAL
3)red flag laws
4)automatic confiscation pending any investigation of violence of an RPAL holder

Do we know yet what calibre was shot in the air? Anything other than birdshot will be indefensible.

The guns being sold at gun stores are not the guns being used for nearly 99% of gun violence against Canadians. That’s the sad part David. Banning guns would be fine if they were the guns being used against Canadians. It’s American Guns sir.

That’s sad to hear Mr.Hamer. A little empathy goes a long way.

The government is directly stopping them from selling a product that they have paid for. Possibly on credit. And now have to pay interest without any income or compensation. Their families shouldn’t have to hurt because the rules changed.

We all want Canadians to be safe

I was sad to see that Trudeau used our good nature of wanting to keep each other safe, against us. They did nothing to protect Canadians from gun violence. They simply targeted law abiding citizens who have been afraid to speak up for fair of being ostracized for being gun owners.

My pleasure Mr. Hamer. I’m a fairly “new” RPAL holder. Just over a year now. Up until completing the CFSC, I was a firm supporter of the Liberals’ Firearm bans. I still am in favour of strong firearm regulations in this country. I am no longer in favour of what has been done under Trudeau’s party.
June 12, 2025 at 7:06 PM
I think I may have misunderstood you before. Is your main issue with the CCFR, are you wishing for increased firearms regulations. Or is it both?
June 11, 2025 at 7:42 PM
Canada has no roots in owning firearms to protect us from a dictatorship. That’s the body and soul of “American” gun culture. Canadians use firearms as useful tools for a variety of needs regarding Canadian history and culture

That’s not your place to claim as fact. It’s a protected opinion and expression. But has no grounds to be applied to anyone but yourself.

He doesn’t care about the regulations that are already in place. It’s just about controlling others and feeling morally superior.

I want Harrier Jet and a billion dollars…..doesn’t mean I’m going to get it. People can say whatever wild things they want, doesn’t make it happen Dear Sir.

Do you kiss your cousin with that mouth?

Go eat your pansies then yank
June 11, 2025 at 1:00 AM
Keep conflating our gun regulations with American Gun laws. It’s not the valid comparison that you think it is Sir. Canada will never have American style gun laws. Handguns have already been banned. Why don’t you focus your energy on stopping guns at the border
