I tend to just throw in an ALL CAPS note in the text reminding me to fix the problem in post. Sometimes, if I’m feeling generous to my future self, I even add details as to how.

Another vote for “Darmok” here. Extra points for anything in modern culture that references “Gilgamesh.”

I’ve lost track of the number of WIPs I’ve got going on, and each time I try to tackle one, some new idea or flash fiction gets in the way…
