So cool to see colour e-ink passenger information displays on the Taipei MRT. Feels less obtrusive than an LCD screen while still allowing PSAs to be displayed.

Is there a larger conversation about box blocking in nyc i an get plugged into? i feel like in the last few years, box blocking has gotten really egregious. what can we do to get drivers to only cross an intersection when there is room to cross?

I’ve visited twice this year and I’ve been astounded by how safe I felt biking around central London. Even when there’s no protected bike lanes, there’s just very little car traffic fighting me and I can zip around. I hope we get here with congestion pricing in New York City!

Final update: deep fried mars bars are phenomenal. The frying process cooks the mars bar’s filling turning it into a warm gooey fudge.
The batter and the mars bar exterior combine to form a mochi flour like chewy texture. Something we Taiwanese call ‘Q’. Delicious. Spellbinding.

On the other hand, deep fried haggis is absolutely scrumptious and I am upset the US bans haggis imports.

Day 2 in Edinburgh. There are many things I happily support sticking in the deep fryer, but upon trying it, pizza is not one of them. I’m sorry to any Scottish folks here I may offend.

The #Brompton Bike Hire must be one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen while traveling. £5 per day and now I have last mile connections to farther destinations!
