I remember this happened to me with NYC. One day I was on the subway & just snapped like I can't do this anymore. I think hearing a leftie NIMBY whine about ppl getting tax exempt food ripped the mask off JNU for me once & for all. I just can't even with the gatekeepers of this horseshit "community"

Honestly, the past few years and especially the past few months have been such a bummer in so many different ways. I am so over this "community" and just surrendering to full recluse mode.

Overheard in public: tier 1 state employee complaining about how now after the ballot measure, everyone in JNU gets a tax exemption on food and it's not just a special perk for senior citizens anymore. I'm just going to leave that here without comment.

There should be a national holiday called Adulting Blows Day where you just unsubscribe from listservs, sit on hold with airlines & health insurance, reset passwords, put away the same 15 dishes, decipher emails about kid's sports & "circle back" to that thing you meant to finish at work last week.

These are political statements & distract from the many serious criminal & civil issues facing AK, which is what the AG & Governor should care about--not whether a transgender person in Ohio gets a passport.

Why did Dunleavy appoint a guy from Indiana as AG? Why did that guy then create an appellate job for another lawyer from Indiana who graduated from law school in 2017 & who lacks the minimum practice required to be a supervisor? Why did he essentially demote 2 great supervisors? #akleg should ask.
