Sales of grapes have been dropping due to overproduction and wine sales are down due to changing consumer taste. Speculative growers planted too many vines and too many grapes are being harvested. Sadly, all those vines come at an environmental cost, which will be hitting the landscape for a while.

They're selling people a box of sticks?!? What is the point, then?
Honestly, though, Ivar was ruined when they got rid of the metal spindles that held the shelves, with the screws on the end---they were a little finicky to put in, but far more stable than the tiny metal pegs.

I froze up when I had to make a last-minute decision: the checkout asks what the sponsor wants written in the book. [Bluescreen]

If you have not had Deri dates yet, keep an eye out for them; they are my faves, creamy-textured and rich-flavored. A true dessert item, good with coffee.

I wonder where the people polled for the study *were*, because in both regions I've lived on the East Coast and the West Coast, tribes are visible and active: on the E Coast that tends to be more about businesses, but lately more environmental (dam removal) activism is happening there too

UK water, and especially, vile London water, is notorious for scale deposits. There are a few soft-water areas, but if the tourist is hitting the most-visited areas, odds are they're going to get tea with nasty stuff floating on top and, if making their own, a scaly kettle. Off-putting.

Avis is feminine; the others are I believe all masculine nouns in Latin. The masculine ones are all taken from the dative, right?

I can imagine something like a puffed wild rice outer coating, but rice in the cheese itself would have to be a high rice:cheese ratio to have an effect.

You start over with the cats in the Neko Atsume 2, collecting the mementos etc. I'm still playing the old version (wanted 1,000,000 fish). There seems to have been an update with some new items around the time NA2 was released. NA2 wants you to network with other players to "visit" their places.

As someone who has seen the entire trajectory of his career, I could not vote for him for president. He has no spine, no core beliefs, no principles save political expediency. He sucks up to donors at the expense of the electorate every time.

I spent some (pleasant!) time figuring out whether "being destroyed" is a kind of gerund construction here, as it is the final item in a sequence of nouns. "Destruction of packages" would be a more consistent choice, but "packages being destroyed" is more active...

Read something awhile back about misogyny and sexism in Scotland's poetry community; this seems consistent with that. And, sadly, across poetry/lit in the UK in general. Consider the London Review of Books, edited for years by someone who openly disliked women. And the bizarro BS the Guardian runs.

Porcini are autumn-coded but can be found year-found. Perhaps, since this is Italian, asparagus could be grown up the mountains in a cooler zone, for longer.
