Thankfully, I was able to get a no-name knock-off set in white for under $30, so I will have the opportunity to paint my LEON angels to suit my whim!

I did consider getting 2 sets so I could spell LOON, but I will save that advanced mischief technique for a future year.

And while these are under $70, they're absolutely terrifying.

Relco's are in the $150 range. Better, but still too much for novelty use.

This has, of course, given me a powerful desire for my own LEON angels.

However, my cousin's vintage NAPCO angels are going for $450.

Ooooh between this and Make It So, it's the most wonderful time of the year!

So as we finish the 1st verse, I realize that the Author M fiction section of my bookshelf is within grabbing distance, including Melville. So I grab.

Every time we sang "deeply wailing," I held Moby-Dick up to my webcam.

We had to explain to our conductor why we were all laughing at the end.

A++++++ spouse! Good luck with the big push, and I hope you have a splendid break!

Agreeed on both counts. Elfman's soundtracks elevate every film he writes for, but music only goes so far towards making a film watchable.

Pet peeves of mine as well.

And my peeves turn downright feral when anyone calls the monster (not the poem) Jabberwocky, such as occurs in the 2010 Alice film.

So naturally, I wrote:

Opening Hymn is Old '94 (Weezer):

If destruction thou wouldst bring
Unto this sweater, this I say,
That thou shouldst holdest tight the string
And pull it as I walk away.
