Many who are against #AssistedDying bill argue from a Christian perspective and our commandment that you shall not kill.

I am a Christian. For me this bill is not about killing. It is helping those whose lives are already ending, respecting their wishes to make the end a little more bearable.

Met with a debt charity today. 80% of their clients are working. Cost of living rises are pushing more and more into unmanageable debt. The impact of this on kids is stark.

Politicians have been failing on social care for far too long. Millions are suffering, being hit financially, living in misery and pain.

We have got to tackle this. Liberal Democrats stand ready to work with the government and any party to secure a long term plan to save social care.
