Tomorrow is voting day in a highly consequential election and the choice is clear.

Canada needs a majority government. Canada has many political parties but only one can hold a majority.

Liberals are best positioned to manage Canadians’ priorities.

Vote red!

Prime Minister @markcarneyforpm.bsky.social met with president Trump by phone today, describing the call as “cordial” and “substantive” while speaking in Montreal.

Speaking at the White House, Trump said he thinks “things will work out very well” between Canada and the U.S.

Poilievre speaks about his mom who gave him up for adoption to two teachers, one of whom came out as gay when he was a teen.

His Dad was planning to get married to a man when Pierre voted against equal marriage the second time. He brought his Dad to watch the vote from the House of Commons gallery.

Congratulations to newly-sworn-in Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Mark Carney.

He is easily the most qualified Canadian to deal with the challenges of the day.

Liberals thank Ruby Dhalla for her service and wish her well in her future endeavours.

“We have fought and died alongside you... During your darkest hours... we were always there. Standing with you, grieving with you, the American people... Canadians are a little perplexed as to why our closest friends and neighbors are choosing to target us."

Today’s train-jumper caught by the CBSA poses an interesting question about the rationale of the US president’s perceived need for tariffs.

Our Parliamentary Guards should not be taken for granted. They truly stand on guard for thee and should have the full force of the Government of Canada behind them as they do their job.

Anybody who intends to test them should be penalized accordingly, not pardoned from legitimate 18 year sentences.

A new Liberal Leader is to be chosen by March 9, 2025.

This will be a very fast selection process.

Are all of the provinces now considering signing on to a constitution given that it has actually never happened, and technically it is a requirement for them to do so in order for the constitution to be valid?

Donald Trump said he would be a dictator on day 1. The election was certified yesterday. Today is day 1.

Donald Trump has been attacking our Prime Minister because he wants PP as PM, he sees PP as the weaker link and an easier target to get what he wants - to acquire Canada.

Donald Trump just refused to rule out military force to acquire Greenland

Donald Trump just announced he is willing to use economic force to acquire Canada.

Thank you to Hon. Justin Trudeau, a leader who has repeatedly demonstrated his love for Canada with the creation of important and necessary social programs, his management during COVID, and his ability to work across the isle for a nearly 4-yr stable government.

His class & integrity are admirable.

Now would be a good time for some sharp television and radio ads that highlight the good work the PM and Liberal Party have done over the last 9.5 years.

Jagmeet Singh says a lot of words that mean little. If it weren’t for the relationship the NDP had with the Liberals, the laundry list of NDP “must have’s” were passed in the House.

Now, even if a progressive leader is chosen and wants to collaborate further, Jagmeet will vote no. And then what?

It has been an unfortunate standard that when one Liberal leader steps down, the next does not contact the previous — ever. No advice. No questions.

This pattern must be broken. Whomever follows our honourable PM should ask him questions, rely on him for advice, and demonstrate similar diplomacy.

Stay tuned for announcements this week.

Mark Carney is a longtime and trusted friend of the Prime Minister.

Public discussion about a potential run for leadership will be much more productive after any announcement that may be made and which will, of course, be imperative to our future national discourse.

Stay tuned.

Canadians who think a Conservative Government is better at fiscal management are ill-advised.

It was Liberals who held Stephen Harper’s feet to the fire in the 2008 financial crisis, forcing necessary stimulus spending to kickstart our economy. PP voted Nay & almost lost government as a result.
January 6, 2025 at 2:06 AM
PP’s interview with Jordan Peterson, ultra conservative and former professor at U of T, was an obnoxious national disgrace.

PP wants to ‘bring back free enterprise by slashing regulations.’ He forgets that regulations aren’t there to take away freedoms, they protect us from descending into chaos.

With artificial intelligence rapidly expanding in Canadian workplaces, we need to prepare as a nation for inevitable, significant job displacement.

PP doesn’t support a basic income of any kind, but ideology won’t help as the number of Canadians seeking Employment Insurance becomes unsustainable.
January 4, 2025 at 12:21 PM
Kevin O’Leary may play a mean game of Monopoly, but he won’t get past Go trying to merge Canada and the United States. He doesn’t speak for Canadians.

Whatever PP’s position is, in Canada there is no Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free card for any leader who commits treason, acting against the national interest.
