Just got stranded in Seattle again. This time for five hours overnight in the rain. I don’t care what anyone tells you, the infrastructure in the city is trash for disabled people. Seriously, I can’t believe how bad Seattle Yellow Cab is. I honestly never want to go back.

Ironically, July is Disability Pride Month. Getting kicked off my health insurance is a horrible way to start. If you voted for or support Trump in any way, and I mean this sincerely, fuck you. I don’t have any desire to be eloquent about any of this.

Just heard about the plan for people to post pictures of Obama as a counterpoint to Trump on June 14th. Barack Obama has his own merits way outside of being used as anti-Trump imagery without his permission. As a Black man, that feels like a form of minstrelsy to me.

March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month. Sharing my experiences has always been something I’ve done. It’s hard to navigate an ableist society, but even more so now that the government is actively targeting the disabled community. I’ve always been outspoken and that isn’t going to change.

I have been told people would be interested in hearing my definition of ableism. It’s important to note that there is a vast, cavernous difference between definition and how something feels. I have spent my life trying as best I can, to share what it feels like to be stripped of my humanity.

In an update to the story, the National Park Service has gone even further and removed Q+ also. The government is now referring to the community as LGB www.them.us/story/nation...
