I get that…but an international airport should be accessible by public transport. Especially when I regularly see posts advising people to use it instead of flying to/from Dublin Airport, which, not to be rubbing salt into your €83 wound, I can get to by public transport 24/7/364 (not Christmas Day)

If you're wondering about the state of public transport in the West of Ireland, the bus that stops at Knock Airport was cancelled and they only run every 3 hours, so I had to spend €83 on a taxi. Honestly ridiculous that there isn't a dedicated airport bus. #SpeirGorm

Jaysus! That goes WAY beyond ridiculous. There should be an obligation on the bus company to provide a 100% reliable service on that route, even if they have to hire a replacement vehicle or driver from another company. And every three hours? To an international airport? WTF? The West’s asleep!
