Protecting a child.
Inspiring people.
Catching the eye of a busy journalist.
In other words, empathy, compassion, bravery, and hope. Of course we’re inspired & already obsessed.

In that week when Musk bought Twitter & started bungling it, the possibility occurred to me that he'd bought it to end its usefulness as a pro-democracy tool. I'm so grateful for BlueSky & the fact that we're all here now & that it's increasing possible to get our news here too!

Do NOT allow Trump's appointees to escape vetting. They MUST be investigated prior to his inauguration, not after. Republicans would never allow Democrats to get away with refusing to sign ethics agreements & investigating his appointees under favorable terms. Stop playing nice!
