Tariff update: Bottles 55%. Barrels, Corks, and Yeast 30%. Napkin math that translates to about a $5-7 per bottle sales tax for us to just break even. Absolute mad king stuff.

And with that email from our barrel rep we could pay over $2,000/barrel when they show up now (vs $1,500).
Yes, we buy amazing fancy French barrels (because we love you), but that equates to a $1.66 per bottle increase in direct costs. Geesh.

The shipments have already started stopping in certain industries. Cars first, many more multinational industries later. Why would Apple not wait it out and save 54% shipping to their own stores?
Ordered this year's yeast today just in case we get hit with a trade embargo. The EU could mess up the wine industry right quick with a targeted embargo!
