While I consider myself a bit of a lurker in the fandom, I can agree that the furry community's welcoming and tight-knit. Building friendships/community while being your aithentic self can be hit or miss depending on the group, but once you find your tribe, it's worth it!

I feel this when it comes to making friends, both in person and online. I think it's a mix of putting yourself out there plus finding groups with similar interests. Online interactions are tough to navigate sometimes, depending on context. I'm sure eventually they'll warm up to you, you got this!
