My third book was THE BASKETBALL DRAFT FACT BOOK (Scarecrow Press, 2013). A complete listing of drafts for all the men's and women's leagues, it made hundreds of additions and corrections to the NBA's published draft list. I loved everything about this project except for the price.

Next up was my second edition of the COMPENDIUM OF PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL (Xaler Press, 2010). The second version let me make corrections and additions, and tweak the layout. And yes, even now, 14 years later I'm still working on a third edition.

I followed up the Compundiun with some work on TOTAL BASKETBALL (2003, Sportsclassic Books). John Grasso and I compled the statistics and wrote the chapter on early major professional leagues, which basically spanned the first half of the 1900s.

My first published work came out in 1999 - THE COMPENDIUM OF PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL (Xaler Press, 1999). It was nearly 10 years of work compiling the information for it and it led to my organizing The Association for Professional Basketbal Research (APBR.org).
