A Void ship sails through the Void of the Kotgh world. - The rebel leader, Thomas Xnoikian, is having a smoke on a long cigarette holder on the deck. - “Got room for another?” A voice says off to his side. - A woman in pirate attire stands there, smiling. She has a pipe and a match in her hands. - “Aye, Captain.” (Heh) Thomas nods. - The Captain, whose name is Hillary Bronzebone, lights up her pipe. - She blows smoke up and away. They smoke for a moment. - “Hm. You wanna know something strange?” She asks. - “Strange? From the oddity collector?” Thomas jokes. - “Hm!” She laughs at him. - “Never once did I think I’d be here.” She says.-“Sharin’ a smoke with one of the most controvers’l island-folk of all time,”-“While sailing straight into a war zone,”-“On a mission fueled by nothing but hope.”-“It’s suicide, but Goddamn those dreamers convinced me.” She chuckles. A scene from Book 3: Ridge Archenal (MC) wakes up alone on the couch and is confused as to where his iconic red jacket has gone. He leaves the farmhouse to see if he can find anyone outside and spots someone he thinks is his old lover, Youcca, doing laundry. - “Hey Youcca! Have you seen my jacket?” He shouts to them. - The person turns, confused, and shouts back “Whaaat?” As if they hadn’t heard him. Turns out it is not Youcca, but his twin sister, Aaron. - “Oh!! Sorry Aaron! Thought you were Youcca!” - She smiles “S’alright! I just took your jacket to clean it, if that’s alright?” - Ridge is shocked and smiles “Oh really? Thank you!” He turns to look around the yard. “Speaking of, have you seen Youcca?” - “He’s out in the field with my husband fixing fences.” She explains. “If you want, you can help me with stuff until they get back?” (Smol Ridge below: “Ok! Sure!”)

Kotgh:TAR Book 4: Bedroom::
*knock knock* - Thomas: “…” - *door opens* - Youcca: “Hello?” - Thomas: “Oh!”-“Sorry, I thought these were Archenal’s chambers?” - Y: “It is. What did you need?” - T: “I… see. I just wanted to speak with him.” - Y: “He’s asleep.”-“Do you want to leave a message?” - T: “*…sigh* …I suppose it’s not too urgent.”-“Just tell him to meet up with me when he wakes up.” END
(Man IDK how to draw the “door-lean” pose RIP)

LORE: Thomas is an exiled leader of a disgraced nation who wanted to help Ridge (Archenal. MC) with his quest to liberate Ridge’s people. and Thomas then asks for the same in return, and for help to return to power bc he was self-exiled and his people actually really liked him. Youcca is Ridge’s lover. You can understand Thomas’ expression in that frame now.
