This was doubtlessly my favorite instructions to write as part of a rather extensive new My NCBI libguide - the option to make a My Bibliography public is a link that only appears as italicized text. 🤦🏼‍♂️ guides.library.kumc.edu/My-NCBI/My-B...

There is some unfortunate irony that the Alternative Text field in LibGuides is a single line rather than a paragraph text field, and therefore is mildly difficult to read when the text runs longer than the field will display.

I do think this is a step in the right direction from MLA. When you want to respond to events effectively it can be hard to be nimble. I’m hopeful that what quickly follows from this will be loud advocacy, support, and steps we can all take to help. #medlibs

this is the current iteration I have with my documentation. I will likely remove color coding before I submit it, but more or less I think the structure will stay the same. Full search is very long, so I just included the beginning 🙂 happy to share the full one out if others are interested.

#medlibs - do you document and describe the field codes and syntax you use in your reported searches, in addition to the search strings themselves? I have started doing this to remove confusion should field codes and database documentation change over time.
