Yup seen that video, ran it frame by frame. It all happens really fast and the video is shot from too far away. He’s leaning into her as she moves. Did she hit him or he her?
And no, it’s not (yet) a deadly weapon. He has time to get away.
January 8, 2026 at 2:19 AM
That’s the official reading. If you watch the video you will see she didn’t hit the officer. The second shot he’s standing at the side of the vehicle, what appears to be shooting through the passenger window. Also since when is driving away a reason to be shot in the face, twice??
January 8, 2026 at 2:04 AM
Really? What was, according to you, the reason for shooting her in the head twice?
January 8, 2026 at 1:36 AM
Maduro most likely lost the election, yes. Accusations that Maduro ran Venezuela as a drug lab are, so far, unfounded.
International law is not a joke. According to you everyone should just be able to do whatever they want, because someone is always breaking some law somewhere.
January 6, 2026 at 5:19 PM
Violating international law and kidnapping a sitting leader of a sovereign nation is a sensible decision?
January 6, 2026 at 4:17 PM
You’re wrong. He also cares about Venezuela’s mineral resources.

You forgot rapes girls
January 4, 2026 at 3:47 PM
Likewise. Nobody says we need to agree. But this was civil and a nice exchange of perspectives.
Have a good night!

Hamas is out to destroy Israel, yes. Israel supported hamas on numerous occasions to weaken PLO and destabilize political efforts to establish a Palestinian state.
None of this is as simple as you make it sound.
January 3, 2026 at 12:27 AM
Meh, history written in a make believe book. History is the reason Russia used to attack Ukraine.
Two-states is the only solution. Nobody knows what would have been if history was different.
January 3, 2026 at 12:12 AM
Jordan took in over 2 (now almost 3) million Palestinians. More than any other nation. They make up over 50% of Jordan’s population. Most of them got Jordan nationality.

I was in Israel during the second intifada and witnessed the 2001 Dolphinarium Disco bombing up close. I fully support the state Israel, but I can not support its racist policies and suppression and definitely not the massive attacks on Gaza and its civilian population.
January 3, 2026 at 12:04 AM
Retaliation? You condone/agree to what Israel did in Gaza?
You are right that Palestine terrorist attacks led to nothing but more oppression. Israeli terrorist attacks gave them their own state. One’s freedom fighter is another’s terrorist.

Sweden is not a socialist country. It is a social democracy. There’s a big difference.
January 2, 2026 at 11:51 PM
Also you keep from mentioning Israeli/Jewish terror. It works both ways. And both acts of terror must be condemned and those responsible be brought to justice.
January 2, 2026 at 11:47 PM
The Abraham accords are the best option available. But who will implement those? Israel is taking more and more land from the West Bank. It annexed East Jerusalem. And it will take large portions of Gaza. There is already talk of fully annexing the West Bank.
January 2, 2026 at 11:46 PM
Mostly the Jewish leadership was (rightly?) concerned about a middle eastern holocaust. They decided attack was the best defense.
Why do you say it was “rightly” their homeland?
January 2, 2026 at 11:44 PM
That’s your opinion, which seems not supported by historians.
January 2, 2026 at 11:42 PM
Yes, but so did Israel. None of the people in power want a two-state solution, whilst most of the people living there do.
January 2, 2026 at 11:34 PM
It was a League of Nations mandate, given to the winner. And no, two-state was not an option then. The (non-LoN) Balfour Declaration promised a Jewish state, while protecting Arab civil rights. A contradiction which had to result in conflict. The UN proposed a two-state solution only in 1947
January 2, 2026 at 11:32 PM
A two-state solution is the only solution. But it is one that those in power do not want.
January 2, 2026 at 11:18 PM
The UN proposed a two state solution on 1947. In 1948 Israel unilaterally declared independence. That’s what triggered the Arab-Israeli war.
Palestinians were forcibly removed from what was now Israeli lands. They have remained stateless. They basicallyhave nowhere to go.
January 2, 2026 at 11:17 PM
It was under British rule(instigation) that the 1929 attack on Jews occurred. It was under British rule that zionists were flooding into the region. It was under British rook that zionists committed terrorist attacks.
The British gave up and handed the problem to the UN.
January 2, 2026 at 11:15 PM
Appointed referee is a euphemism. The British defeated the Ottoman Empire and took it’s territories, including Palestine. Britain was a strong supporter of the 1917 Darfour agreement, which promised a Jewish state in Palestine.
