I write stuff, like the fanfic War of the Four Banners. Love world building. Simple as.
I think it's a bit too broad. Most violent ideologies already have 'utopias at the end of a skull built rainbow'. I think what makes the communist tyrants unique is that they make very basic promises and build off other movements before moving towards 'cleaning house'.

It's by tradition we have lax gun laws here, and it's a culture shock between Europeans and Americans. Honestly, I've still held onto the belief that people are too partisan about guns here, where people either want it to be more lax or "we are coming for your guns >:))"

Tis silly.

The twitter ghoulishness actually gave me pause, from a Mexican celebrating the murder outright, to some red triangle cretan saying it was a false flag.

There is honestly no curse strong enough to describe these people.

What’s funny is that now people buy that horrid chocolate at a dollar store for like 1.25, which even then is too much if ya ask me.

Probably also doesn't help that one political party thinks taking on endless debt will somehow solve the issues, and the other party who complains constantly on it proceeds to ignore it anyway.

And honestly, with what happened in Minnesota (which of course got super politicized, thank you trump, now it will never be taken seriously), there are warrants to that mistrust. Americans like throwing money at problems, then are shocked when it doesn't solve it.

Some states like Alaska love their welfare, because the oil there gives them a damn good income and the state can afford it (and needs it to keep people there). The issue is, Americans I know love welfare. . .they just don't want to pay for it, because they believe it's always misspent.
December 12, 2025 at 1:06 AM
If ya remember the video on that subject you made on it some time ago, it honestly depends on how it is paid for. Americans are not squeamish about welfare, but on how it is spent. Americans have been complaining about it for over 300 years.

Vacation industries really don't care much where the money flows from, so long as they can pay.

It's in a kinda a weird way where the confederate flag became an edgy symbol of 'resistance', despite its history. Dixie stories and media made for interesting stories, but it also unintentionally perpetuated dreaded mythologies which still persist to this day.
December 12, 2025 at 12:51 AM
Unironically, blame media lol.

The myths built in ww2 of 'effective and honorable meat waves' and 'we can solo hitler' was built up in many popular games and stories. I don't think it was intentional, but that myth became very big for a long time.

Debatable, primarily because of the many, many hiccups in Europe, and that Canada's helpfulness is really debatable. Like I get the disgust for trump, but even that in time will pass.
December 12, 2025 at 12:45 AM
Honestly, I think you pointed it out long ago I think, but it's really funny that highly liberal states like New York and California don't have their own systems for it. The public wants a lot, for pennies.
December 12, 2025 at 12:38 AM
As a conservative (lol, lmao even at this point), it's baffling to see that my fellow Americans both paradoxically want free health care. . .but don't want to pay for it. They think dwarfing our army will pay for it, but we already spend a whole lot on healthcare as is.
December 12, 2025 at 12:38 AM
Stop doing that.
December 7, 2025 at 1:05 AM
Ya know, when I wished like several years ago that Europe would be a bit more independent from the US, I did not expect this monkey paw-ass situation.

Still never going to forgive trump for not deporting him when he had the chance.
December 6, 2025 at 9:32 PM
A small video game journalist scandal (A relationship of a game journalist with a progressive game developer, resulting in good scores) resulted in a suspiciously all out defense by a wide range of articles.

This would explode during a time where trust in media really began to sink.
December 4, 2025 at 2:37 PM
It's to a certain point what gave the movements that power to begin with wasn't the message, but the responses to it, all of it non-violent and entirely social.
December 4, 2025 at 2:33 PM
Its a growing fascination that a lot of movements thought of as 'silly' and 'unprofessional' and 'absurd' whether it be the Tea Party movement or gamer gate's shadow turned into major movements over the years, for better (lol, lmao even). Or worse.
