Some days I get to make very weird, delightful things at work. Because why not have the book reaper collect our overdue books?
Me to student helper: "What should his name be?"
Student: "Book Reaper. His name is his job."

I'm calling this year a win. Our circ starts didn't balloon nor do I have a lot of data that demonstrates our impact, but I know the library is doing incredible things because of moments like this one when a group of multi-ling learners discovered they belonged here. #TheLibraryIsYourPlace

Our Student Library Advisory Crew (aka SLACkers) finished the statement "The library is an important part of our school because/but/so..." The answers for all 3 posters were enlightening, but it makes me proud that Ss feel our library is important because it's inclusive.
