Strive to inspire!
Why let go of goal rational thinking? I can't stand that emptiness. It's not empty either, because I can do stuff. What's most important to keep in mind is that it doesn't start or end with you. In end, It's happening, your initiative included; openness to develop that initiative is what's needed.

This self-branding stuff is actually just mind numbing media ideology in a very real Marxian sense of the word. Everything in media has to be polished, safe, and predictable because people are overstimulated and exhausted by the media onslaught.

It's alive! It must be critical, creative, and loving at the same time!

Ted Goia diagnoses our bland culture and calls for a return of the weirdo.

I'm here for it!

With culture, art, or intellectual products, it's the same as with food. Their consumption isn't complete until it's become you, until it's integrated into your behavior.

The artist or intellectual must strive to inspire in some way.

Mediation, to me, is applying techniques to relax with spiritual side effects.

These effects include:
-direct awareness into oneness
-more awareness of emotions
-therefore, better self-knowledge, resulting in better decisions

I quit meditating a while ago, because I thought I had all the insight out of it I was going to get. So, my friend insomnia decided to come back. Now I'm back at it with rigorous concentration meditation, to see if it helps. Not that I want to be totally boring, like Eckhart Tolle or something.

Of course it's hard to connect all the dots and fully realize everything is rational, but smaller rational projects are never finished either.

No work, be it rational or what have you, is ever truly finished.

It's all intuition; just let it, and each other, be.

Sensible talk is only a question of more talk. The problem is that people want their nonsense to be easy to digest.

Letting language interact with the world around it is speech.

Letting language interact with more language is chit chat, or powerplay, or decorative.

N.B. The above modes can also be mixed

All linguistic creativity is poetry, some is feasible rationally.

When I'm working on a project, not everything is sacred as you can't fix everything at once. This means I'll have to make choices as to what I'll fix.

Nevertheless, this should happen while keeping in mind everything is sacred, so you'll figure out when to abandon the project.

You should only be consistent for lack of inspiration. And even then it's iffy.

Spelling colour with the 'u' is simply more colorful.

A lot depends on in what ways someone or a community is conscientious more than to what degree they are conscientious. If method and logic vary and are relative to some extent, it becomes useless and regressive to be a smartass.

The friction I experience when trying to be conscientious, a result of the sociocultural nature of thought, makes me want to flee into a haven of idiosyncrasy.

What project is worth giving up this haven?

Love makes no choices, it's omniradiant. The discerning, practical mind, in tandem with the personality make choices that tend to imply judgements.

Sadly, it took me 51 years to figure out that the principle of explosion is bogus. A conscientious refutation of it doesn't feel like it's cold, hard, decidable, and simply true, though.

It took me 51 years of living and 15 years of mediating regularly to finally become reasonably clear about passion and love.

Love: the less you think (and therefore the more you relax,) the more love you feel.

Passion: love channeled through the personality.

There's something to say for dealing mostly with positive, outside world facts, sooner than analytic facts. Analytic facts are mostly about being socioculturally right, not truth. A nuance is here that what's analytically imagined can add to the intellectual reservoir.

Sitting down for mediation in correct form is, amongst other stuff, a gamification of meditative practice, maybe? It's one way to keep attention sharp, too.

The tricky thing is that, notwithstanding gamification and and paying attention, you'll still have to ease into love, joy, and compassion.

'groupthink is bad.' the person calling themselves autonomous said in perfect English, apparently attempting to persuade the crowd to start to think for themselves.

It's much like agreeing with the statement that sociocultural differentiation is a fact.

Using a priori logic 'to reflect out the nonsense' doesn't make it any better, only worse; it's a loss of power of imagination, tunnel vision. Do you think events consult a logic book or a logician before they unfold? Why would you limit your imagination?
