Life in the Florida of the Midwest. Alcohol fueled misunderstandings, crime, the occasional couch humper/deer sexer.

One of these is maybe a Pokemon.

Happy to spread it. I remember testing it a week ago with something pretty generic/historic - "Battle of Hastings" or something, and results were just....RESULTS. The top two entries were Wikipedia and Brittanica, and it just felt so fucking good.

It should be noted that Google has noticed the backlash enough that they quietly published a code that would removed AI results for their searches.

An enterprising person built a default site to search without AI, and the results are goddamn refreshing as hell.

Well, a lot of very rich people have dumped a lot of money into this thing. But people who know seem to think they don't have anywhere near enough money to keep this going for a lot longer.

Ed Zitron won't be the only one predicting an AI Bubble burst in the coming weeks/months.

She's absolutely weirdly right-wing, but the fears for creatives and for people in general when it comes to AI seems to be pretty bipartisan? AI is popular with a very small, odd set of folks, really.

You'll note she doesn't invoke the environmental disaster of it all, though.

I'm all for horny art, and she's a grown ass woman, after all.

I'm not a fan myself, so I don't know shit about shit, to be clear.

I just know that I saw a screenshot of some of the lyrics, and I thought it was a joke. But they were real.

The laugh track on the shows that were clearly not filmed in front an audience is what always threw me. M*A*S*H having one, even as a relatively young kid, struck me as odd.

Always valid to let an album sit before you decide. Though it is rare to go from "This sucks" to "Wait a minute, this actually awesome."

I would also understand Swifties deciding they didn't need so many lyrics about Travis Kelce's dick.

Bones Hyland terrorizes Denver. Repeatable? Who knows.

I remember seeing an article where they interviewed book reviewers about a "classic" they were embarrassed they never finished. And the final person was like, "I feel no shame. I quit books all the time. If I'm reading for pleasure, and I'm not enjoying it, what's the point? I'll try again later."

It's like if "Detroiters" had a mall.

Listened to that 10 times in a row. Had to actively pull myself away from Spencer's casual confidence.

That's on the receiver. Gotta get your hands out there - don't catch the ball with your body. C'mon.

The Onion's shortlived sports video satire did a piece about how the French were now enjoying Eli Manning's game videos as a darkly comic vision, and it has stuck with me for more than a decade.

One of my favorite recent stories about Cena came out of this most recent season of Peacemaker, when he is doing a bunch of bong rips. James Gunn said that Cena had NO IDEA had to do it. Luckily, lots of people on the crew were willing to help him learn.

That dude puts out terrifying vibes on almost every play.

Would it be Canadian erasure to take that same cast and use them as Alpha Flight?

I say that only because my first thought of Kevin Hart as Wolverine was, "He would be a better Puck."

It is always weird how people don't get that insurance works, as much as it does, due to the huge number of people who are relatively healthy and aren't actually using it that much. But who are covered if they break a leg or whatever.

If it the pool is entirely made up of the acturial old & sick..

the irony is Leonard Cohen probably would have loved that joke.
