Totally true. And, also, though I wouldn't have "agreed" that I was queer, I would have been proud of all I've overcome to get to where I am in love, work, and family in general. So, my younger self would have been very conflicted.

My current self is so unconflicted that I relish every day.

Practicing shooting. Apparently, for queers, things are getting a bit serious. Our being queer seems to be a problem for some who may not be averse to meeting us with weapons. We are choosing to have knowledge and practice skills.
