Talked to the vet & rescheduled Story’s recheck for Friday. She was very apologetic that the original splint came off and we ended up in the ER. Assured her that I know very well that greyhounds are oddly shaped and hard to fit. #vetmed

Bought a new toy, left it on the counter & forgot. Remembered & went to look for it when I found an excited Beth prancing around with it. I’m sure Archer liberated it for her. He misses nothing.

Hi handsome. Also a kitty condo intruder. In the past week alone he has brought me a pack of furry mice and a tub of catnip.

Well of course her splint came off just after the vet closed for the weekend. It’s not wrapped the way they had it but I think it will hold 🤞

Story survived her dislocated toe & I survived having to pop it back in. Vet said she knew it was common in greyhounds but had never seen it. Sorry we spoiled her chance by having it happen while we were out of town - much rather she fix it than me. #dogsofbluesky
