Here to inject mindfulness for lifelong learners, so you can chase your career with clarity and cultivate joy every day.
In your 30s, boundaries become the whole game.
You'll realize the ones who get a ton of stuff done have told a lot of people to f*ck off

do you think the meditation apps that's out there are actually helping you integrate mindfulness into your life?

May we get the wisdom and courage to stay with our blocked dull distracted confused chaotic mind and relax in it.

It's not that serious after all.

Stop giving meaning to what you notice.
The more you try to explain,
the less you actually notice.

You’re not here to label.
You’re here to witness.

Let the strange be strange.
Give it space. Stay with it.

No one talks enough about how ridiculously hard it is, and how long it takes to unlearn the lie that struggling equals failing.

Switch from reading to active reading and change your life.

Don't just read. Read with a timer. Read with a goal. Write (or type) down the sentences, phrases, or words that moved you. Write down the summary, the takeaways. Write down what you feel about the author. Take it further...

Have you ever written just to drain your mind? To scrape it clean, to let it all tumble out without trying?

God, that’s the best.

If I'm thinking about present moment, I'm only convincing myself I'm here.
The present isn't something you think about.
The moment you try to mindful, it slips away. It's like trying to catch smoke.
Mindfulness is something you gradually sink into.
Not trying. Just being.

You can love your employees, your community, the environment and still make good money.

Ethical businesses can win too.

How quickly you return to presence every time thoughts pull you away is a measure of your progress in meditation.

Hinduism calls this Grace.
Buddhism calls it the momentum of Mindfulness practice.

Call it whatever you want, but the message is the same: Keep coming back.

If you’re shelling out a fortune for a yoga + wine retreat, you’re drinking overpriced wine that's not worth it. You’re missing on the real point of yoga.
And you’re definitely losing money.

Be mindful of your mindlessness

Let go of the inner wars today. 😇
It’s time for a day of mindfulness.

Today I’ll remember to:

Show up

Breathe mindfully

Resist enemyship

Say a kind word to a stranger

Play with cats

Cook a healthy meal

Listen to a record all the way through

Go for a mindful walk in the snow

Laugh with friends

Not be “productive”

Here’s what we're going to do:

Meditate like your life depends on it for the next 4 years.

The secret life hack is to read books to absorb everything you can and change your life for the better, not to rush toward an arbitrary year-end book count.

Have you figured out your purpose in life ?
January 5, 2025 at 3:15 PM
the funny thing is,

while we’re chasing what feels missing, there are real people out there admiring how sorted our lives look and wishing they had what we have today.

If you can’t have what you want, start seeing your life through their eyes.

feels like the few folks in the office today are just here to make sure the lights still work for the rest of the crowd starting on Monday.

Gentle reminder to myself:

You don’t have to stay so loyal to your negative thoughts.

You can let go.

Like, you know… just, uh… they’re yours, but also… not yours yours, ya know?

No. I don’t want a continuous growth mindset if it means burning out by chasing endless skills.

I want a mindfulness mindset. Focus on doing things while finding joy, and stop making life about constant optimization.

Until Jan 2nd 2025, I'm sticking to two simple things.

Drinking lots of water
Getting lots of sleep.

Hope you're finding time to rest and recharge around this holiday season.
