He did a good job the first time? Over 1 million US citizens died due to Covid. That's one of the worst outcomes globally. He was a disaster.

Especially if you are very elderly, so he can inherit it soon please.

It certainly sounds like someone other than Trump wrote it.

100% agree. There is a long hard road ahead to get that to happen though, so many people get very wound up about the thought of restricting it. It's like a drug.

Early this year we booked flights to go to Canada in Dec/Jan. It was cheaper to go via Asia and Seattle when we booked so we did that. Cancelled those flights about 3 weeks ago at significant cost. Going to Japan instead. Not going anywhere near the US for the foreseeable future.

Similar story here in Australia (our federal election is 10 May). It is the Trump effect.

I'm just exchanging emails with my travel agent to find out the cost of cancelling our flights to the US at the end of this year. A significant amount as it turns out, but what price peace of mind?

I really hope we are at the 'Hitler in his bunker' stage already.

Actually, Chinese grocery bills just increased. US production will decrease as a result because price up = demand down. So American jobs will be lost. Lets be accurate on what impact tariffs have. Its the tariffs being placed on imports by the US that cause US grocery bills to go up.

I can see what looks like Australian Penfolds wine in the background. Canadians can treat themselves to a decent drop of Coonawarra red instead of red state paint-stripper.

He's been stewing for 4 years waiting for this. Anyone who is shocked has literally had their head in the sand for a decade.

Congratulations USA on electing such a fine, upstanding citizen to lead your country. You must be so proud.

My dad gave us a long sheet of plastic and a sprinkler instead. Ended up
with quite a few grass burns from memory.

Agreed, however many of the numpties that voted for Brexit thought it would decrease immigration so it is worthwhile presenting them with the facts that it increased it instead.

What a surprise. He’ll be poisoning things for the ALP no doubt.

Thank you. In what way are they a lame duck? Is it that congress doesn’t do their bidding?
