‘LIFT’ is a 4-year EU funded COST Action project which will provide the background for including positive welfare in farm animal welfare assessment. The Action started in November 2022 and will continue to November 2026. Currently, LIFT has more than 200 participants from 38 different countries.

WG3 had a successful meeting in Antalya (Feb 27-28), hosted by Özkan Elmaz, with twelve LIFT members joining in person to advance WG activities.

Topics included the selection of PAW indicators to be consulted, identification of stakeholders, and survey construction.
