ProDuts folks around me telling me he didn't receive due process during his arrest and the turnover was done in haste. That's so funny because like the 7000+ people he had offed didn't receive due process either.

The unrelenting misogynistic hate that Leila De Lima went though for investigating Dutae was honestly astounding. Not surprising (because a lot of Filipinos do be misogynistic), it is one of the most absolutely disgusting media circus I've witnessed.

Randomly remembered when I enrolled in college as a working 17 year old and this rich kid classmate was touring me around and saw my messed up chucks and was like "Oh you're a thrasher"
And I had to say "No I'm just povo and I work an active job from 9am to 12am 6 to 7 days a week." 🫠

I feel like i was a little bit misguided in 2016 when i followed a makeup tutorial by a really pretty girl hoping it would make me as pretty as her. The immeasurable disappointment i felt when i still looked exactly like myself.

I feel like folks get annoyed with me saying thanks in a sweet singsong cadence as I've seen a lot of eyerolls whenever I do.
I can't really undo it as it's also how I've always said (maraming) salamat po. I'm sure a lot of Filipinos say things in a singsong tone.

My mom advocated for my dog today and it was so surreal.
My cousin's wife (the family lives in her house) yelled at him for peeing next to a basket of clean laundry on the floor and my mom said "don't talk to him like that this is more his house than yours."
