My day off has continued with an Autumn 'Brambly Hedge' feel. Homemade bread rolls, a whole (blue) pumpkin turned soup and several Bramleys processed.

Having another long weekend to use up leave. Today I achieved 32 handmade bread rolls. Despite them smelling soooo good, they are destined for the freezer as I have all the Jnrs descending for Christmas. #HomeBaking #Breadmaking

This day a year ago I was in the worst pain of my life (bar childbirth) when I encountered a pavement pothole hidden in fallen leaves and sustained an avulsion fracture of my ankle. Once home, Mr LnS's efforts to carry me to the sofa were both hilarious and agonising! #HeDroppedMe

I have never known a Parish where individuals self-appoint themselves to jobs, do them (badly) without reference to anyone else and then get upset if you make a gentle suggestion otherwise.

I have treated myself to a long weekend off work at home. I am determined to reduce my fabric stash, by creating some garments. What did I do today?
2 loads of washing, cleaned bathrooms, vacuumed, sorted out Mum's documents with her, WENT TO WORK for 30mins. Seriously, there's no hope for me. 😓

My friend's SoniL has just been diagnosed with testicular cancer. Young man in his 30s with a toddler. Aren't there just some awful things going on.
