Can we bring back chonker-level sunspots like we had in October 2003, please (maybe without the extreme geomagnetic storming)? Look how big these groups are... makes anything we've seen recently look like little peppercorns.

I’m also extremely saddened by the recent assassination. Though I truly believe the way to keep these horrific things from happening again is to stop the vicious & violent rhetoric on *both* sides. I’ve been working on partisan bridge-building for 6 years & I can tell you it works!

*Everything* humans do is geo-engineering, including spewing greenhouse gasses; attempting to sequester them; building massive solar farms, wind farms, hydro projects. Seems to me launching aerosols would simulate volcanoes, & we pretty much know what effect that has globally. What am I missing?
