why are live events like this by you, The Bulwark etc. even necessary? I hate Trump.. I watch you all of the time Mehdi and love everything The Bulwark, Acosta does but selling tickets to a live event just seems grifty.. why do these events even exist? it just looks weird..

I'm in WNY.. Buffalo area.. it *used* to be cheap here.. but lots of companies have bought up rental properties & rents increase constantly.. people are struggling & need to speak up.. I'm constantly talking about this but I'm just one person.. NYC might be the place to make it a national story..

I would agree with that but I think first it needs to be a big story, a headline.. it's a real problem for millions of people of all ages.. our mainstream media *again* is failing us.. I do see a lot of indie YouTubers talking about it though.. and this whole van life thing is related to rent too..

"3 x rent" is pushing TONS of people into living in vehicles & homelessness.. I'm 62, on Social Security + revenue from royalties/gigs & am living with a relative while I look for a place.. credit score 800, never been evicted, responsible, look pretty normal, low debt.. but don't make 3 x rent..
