Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. I did not get a bingo on my 2025 card. If there were "weekly" natural disasters, then I would have. Strangely, with the exception of the LA fires, it was a relatively quiet year on that front

There is no national security logic that would impel the US to want to do regime change in Venezuela. It's simply not that important. I'm not even sure wag the dog is the right metaphor for what's happening here. Seems like an insane misallocation of US national security assets and attention.
