Last year I had a box of 20 newly-printed books just vanish with absolutely no trace. They got as far as the final delivery depot and then, not a clue what happened. The printer had to re-run them and claim from Parcelforce. Considering everything is scanned and tracked, it's quite unbelievable.

Lovely as toppers are for their design and crafting, street furniture inc. postboxes should be functional and not cluttered with extraneous adornments or street art. Original postboxes that are 'butchered' to fit modern kit shouldn't be allowed either. Now, where can I post my parcel?!

It seems that RM has an expectation for you to buy all your postage online and place/collect it from lockers. I'm not sure what will happen to the Post Office longer term.

Certainly locally, it wasn't until the late 1980s that smoking in British Telecom offices started to be restricted/segregated.
