Kind of? Like this is in line with something type moon already did and hasn't retroactive change anything but to be more exact, the part 2 finale was more like a comic relaunch than whatever the fresh heck is going on now.

This is early fgo so things were still up in the air but yeah, in general, this is not the first time fgo translation team has dropped the ball nor will it be the last; in fact, they kind of suck in general.

Man, that was a good read. I enjoyed how you exemplify it as a social game, which a lot of people forget and how you just reminded me how the translation in NA is. Still, with how much this community demands you pick a side I really glad that you say you love it while acknowledging its flaws.

If you want a better experience and for the message of the singularities to get across better, I'd recommend reading the mangas.

I personally recommend for the earlier parts of part one till camelot to go through the fgo mangas instead. Because, oh boy, they are awkward; unless you are into how long-running series take a while to gain their footing, you may not have a good time.

Funny enough the Shimousa manga does the opposite of this and makes Gudako slightly insane so Musashi responds by also acting unhinged

Imo it's not the worst story that ever came out of the main story but it's definitely not even in the top 3 stories of that year. What I am saying is it's a very par-for-the-course fgo story; it isn't going to wow you.

A lot of stuff in fgo anime gets fucked and scrapped to the end and back because the anime tries to be cute, imo
The only one that got modicum of decency was, ironically, Eresh and Ishtar
Also, whether people hate or like it, there's a lot context that builds up for it's final singularity

I personally like Dantes 3rd acension design because it's meant to be similar to Goetia, which is awesome if you know anything about his appearance in his chapter.
