I've rarely been able to get into MMOs, but I recently picked up Elder Scrolls Online. I like the idea of exploring Tamriel beyond just Oblivion and Skyrim and it plays pretty similarly to the mainline games. Made a nightblade khajiit as my character.

They said RAM prices were high, but holy shit, I didn't think they were driven this high. I bought this memory kit for $240 back in April. AI is doing to memory what the crypto rush in 2017 did to video cards. Just glad I don't need to upgrade anytime soon.

I saw this AI generated image of a motherboard in a news article. The immediate tell tale sign it was AI for me was the prime number of sticks of RAM and slots (5 and 7). The more you look at it, the worse it gets. I hate generative AI, especially being used in this sort of context.
