In my old condo I'd matched artsy switch plate covers to each room's color scheme, a prospective buyer's offer mentioned the custom switch plate covers as fixtures that must remain with the condo.

I'll be there in my leafy California suburb with a sign I bought on Etsy. I wish I could tell my 18 year old self to keep her protest skills sharp because she'll need them in 40 years, but I don't know how I'd explain any of this.

In my leafy Northern California suburb, Nextdoor is filled with neighbors feverishly alleging that 8647 is a death threat, that we are all being paid to protest, that we hate America. It's astonishing.
